Medicom toy Be@rbricks have gained their value from the brand collaborating with iconic artists/brands such as Jean Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Keith Hearing,ATMOS, Sesame Street to design very limited quantities of each design.
The bear figure consists of 9 sections that can move; head, torso, hips, arms, hands, and legs. This simple, block-like design is also referred to as 'kubrick', hence the term 'bearbrick'.
All Be@rbricks are limited edition. A Bearbrick like Elmo 1000% can sell 4-5 times more than its 100% version in the secondary market. Though it's not always 1 to 1, in the end, 400% and 1000% Bearbricks have the highest chance of appreciating over time.
The 1000% Bearbrick,the biggest size is 70 cm tall 400% Bearbricks are 28 cm tall. 100% Bearbricks measure 7 cm in height and are the standard size.
Although the brand is based off of a simple bear figure it has won over the world with its countless reiterations, as the company regularly collaborates with brands from all industries.These limited collaborations with artists such as Jean Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Keith Hearing,ATMOS, Sesame Street and many more iconic artists and brands.
